A little problem in iTunes

I was playing around with the direction iTunes goes to get the show, to see if I could utilize another tool that will allow me to more accurately track traffic. Well in the process, I broke it. I've made a change to put it back the way it was, BUT it might not take for a few hours. I hope to have it fixed here very soon. If you want to listen to the show another way, click on listen online. Then on the Feedburner page, you can click the icon next to each episode to listen online. Sorry I messed everything up, but I hope to have it fixed fairly soon!

I do want to apologize in advance, for the echo in the audio. I'm really not happy with how we keep getting echo's on every person except for me. I'm still trying to get that figured out. So if you can bear with the slight echo and listen to the full interview, I think you'll find it quite rewarding.

Thanks again to Pex for taking time to virtually 'sit' down with us last Friday. We had a great time and he's a great conversationalist. I look forward to more chats in the future.

I also want to mention, that this was our longest podcast to date. We almost ended up going over an hour. Well actually our interview was over an hour until I cut it back down in editing.

The Free Realms team is out in Atlanta this weekend attending DragonCon. DragonCon is a Sci-Fi/Fantasty/Comic Convention in Atlanta, Georgia. With the imminent release of the new content update, we decided to hold off on recording episode 3 so that we could cover that update at that time. Sorry for the delay, but we felt it would be best to get that information included in the podcast. So look for it just after the update goes live!

Patch moved to Monday or Tuesday

Pex posted on the official forums that the patch has been delayed until Monday or Tuesday. There were a few bugs that just didn't want to be squashed in time. Plus they didn't want to roll out such a large patch on a Friday when there would be less staff available on Sat & Sun to fix any issues that might come up.

Sony announced today that they are working with WildStorm and best-selling fantasy author J.S. Lewis (the Grey Griffins series), to produce a 12 issue comic book series based on the Free Realms game. This is a move that is common with other MMORPG makers and makes sense here as well. The quality of the images shown in the announcement show a careful attention to producing a high quality comic. On twitter, someone slipped a little interesting hint. If you type /ABSNBD in the chat window, you enable a little cheat so to speak. It makes your head huge, like a bobble head. Type it again to return to normal.

Malik Blazegate shared a tip with us to help you level your combat jobs to level 10. In Blackspore, there is a dungeon at the bottom left corner of the map called, Haunted Mines. It is a level 3 dungeon, but if you go in and fight just the spiders at the beginning of the cave, you'll earn a lot of experience. Once you get beyond the spiders, it gets much harder. At that point, you can exit the dungeon and start over again. This should help you get to level 10 on your jobs fairly quickly. Thanks for the tip, Malik!

We just recorded our first episode over the weekend. I'm currently editing the recording and we should have it up and live either tonight or at least by Wednesday. I'm learning as I go, so I apologize for the delays to getting it active.

I know the website looks a little rough. We quickly threw it together as we were recording the podcast so that we had addresses to give out on the podcast. I'll have that updated shortly as well.
